Autumn awakening

And here they are, the first days of autumn,  the leaves changing colors and the rainy afternoons, coming home after a walk in the rain, the charming welcome of  a comfort soup… I’m so happy to begin with the research for so many recipes to try during the afternoons at home. Today I bought some walnuts, figs, sesame baguettes and my favorite cheese called crutin al tartufo from the Piemonte in North Italy. I made some crostini, add a drizzle of honey on top and they were delicious. The perfect way to say welcome to this new season.
